The MCP surface

ReDock runs an MCP server on localhost:47200. Point Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client at it and the whole dock becomes tool calls:

  • Sites: create, start, stop, delete, query status
  • WordPress: author with blocks and patterns, manage plugins, magic login
  • Ship: share, claim subdomains, deploy, attach domains
  • System: services, runtimes, databases, logs

The Other AI apps panel in the ReDock desktop app’s AI settings, headed Use ReDock from other AI apps. A Claude Desktop card offers a one-click Connect Claude Desktop button and a Save the connector file link. A Cursor, Windsurf and any MCP client card shows a JSON config pointing at 127.0.0.1 on port 47200 with a Copy button. A terminal card shows the one command that adds the same address to Claude Code.

Results carry verified state: the same honest-status guarantee the UI has. An agent cannot be told a site is Running unless it is.
