QuickShare and subdomains

Two ways out, both over Cloudflare tunnels:

  • QuickShare: an unlisted random URL (…7f2k.redock.xyz). Unlimited, disposable, perfect for “look at this now”.
  • Named subdomain: claim yourname.redock.xyz and keep it while you use it. Three of them, on every plan.

The Sharing screen in the ReDock desktop app, headed Put a site on the internet in one click. It says sharing gives a site a public address anyone can open while it keeps running on your computer, shows your-site.test becoming name.redock.xyz, and offers a Share a site button, with a line underneath saying an instant link needs no account and expires in a day while a named link needs one sign-in and keeps the name.

Sharing follows the site: stop the site and the tunnel parks; start it again and the URL comes back. Stop sharing and the address goes dark.

The Sharing tab of one site, headed Put Arbor Shop on the internet, saying a public address anyone can open while the site stays running right here and the link turns off whenever you say, with a Share this site button and an offer to connect a domain you own.
